Stuttgart, July 29, 2024: “A final on our doorstep” – that’s what the Stuttgart grill team “Real Smoke BBQ” thought when they competed in the World Barbecue Association (WBQA) World Barbecue Championship in 2024, taking part for the first time ever in a WBQA international competition. The event took place at the Stuttgart Airport exhibition center and with a record crowd of 15,000 spectators the new Grand Champions German left behind a field of over 100 grill teams from 23 countries.
